Originally from Texas, Misty Jones knew she wanted to spend her life making music ever since she had her first Casio keyboard at age 10. In the 8th grade, she started playing in rock bands and discovered a love for music production and programming synthesizers. During her 13 years leading worship at Community Bible Church in San Antonio, she began to remix and produce music in her spare time, and also created a program for developing young musicians called “Amplify.” In 2013, Misty moved to Spain for a year to master the art of music production at Berklee College of Music’s Valencia campus. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Middle Tennessee State University, specializing in Ableton Live and MIDI controllers. Misty continues to write songs, produce, and program for various artists in the Nashville, TN area.
